Join the Friends of Hoyt Park at Sequoya Library ( 4340 Tokay Blvd.) Community rooms A/B for a workshop on Winter Sowing. We will show you how to make a mini greenhouse out of gallon plastic jugs and will provide native plant seed collected from Hoyt’s prairie areas or, for added diversity, purchased native seed. These seedlings will be planted in the restored areas of the park. Make two greenhouses and you can keep one for your yard. Bring the kids to this family-friendly event.
