Discover Hoyt Park

While you are on your walk  you will want to check out the historic and newly restored Hoyt Park fireplaces. These fireplaces were built during the 1930s  by Italian stonemasons from Madison’s Greenbush neighborhood. These 14 structures are part of what qualified Hoyt Park as a national historic property.  Each fireplace is made from stone quarried in the park and has a distinct ‘personality’ reflective of the individuals who made them.
