Volunteers are invited to a Hoyt Park workday hosted by the Friends of Hoyt Park. We will gather at the Hoyt Park parking lot.

A FoHP volunteer will explain the monthly task and limited tools will be provided. We may be working in brushy areas so dress appropriately, bring gloves to protect your hands and wear solid shoes. These workdays are family friendly and a great way to meet people who care about our urban parks. FoHP will provide a light snack and water.

In October we will be planting native plants in Hoyt’s new parking lot gardens. These plants will provide beauty to our new parking lot and food for native insects. Bring a hand spade if you have one and enjoy the colors of Hoyt Park in autumn.
